Yesterday we had the privilege to go sailing at the Taipa of sailing club. It was a amazing experience because I haven't been saying before. Swoosh I looked over the side of the sailboat and we were along way off from the shore. Me and my buddy Dylan were flying like a bird over the smooth sea. Suddenly the instructors flipped the boat over and said that we had to flip it back over it was so tiring. Then we played a mini game were we had to collect as many coloured balls as we could, without hoping out of the boat me and Dylan got 26. It was so fun.
When I wasn't sailing we did onshore activities one of the activities was to calculate what the perimeter of the America's Cup sail. We had a miniature sized sail we measured each perimeter and then times it by 10 it was really huge.
That day was the most fun I had at school for ages. I really want to do that again.
Have you been sailing before?
