Cybersmart week 3

 W.A.L.T use the hyperlink shortcut.


last week we had Cybersmart. instead of having tasks to do we had to create a quiz on Google slides about shortcuts. We had to have at least 5 questions and have them hyperlink to the right slides. We had to use different shortcut for the question. Here is mine:



This task was really fun because I love making quizzes to test my friends and the knowledge. This wasn't challenging for me because I've created quizzes before on Google slides.

Cybersmart week 2

W.A.L.T learn about shortcuts.

 A few weeks ago we did Cybersmart tasks about the Digital dig. The digital dig is is a Cybersmart task that we complete with shortcuts. We did activities using shortcuts especially screenshots . Then we had to create a poster on Google drawing about one of the shortcuts that we used.



This task was fun because I got to use shortcuts that I've never used before. I also found it challenging because I was confusing which button to push.

Cybersmart week 1

W.A.L.T learn about the Kawa of care.

 A few weeks ago we did Cybersmart tasks about the Kawa of care. The Kawa of care is is a letter that you sign to promise that you'll look after your Chromebook, so you don't disrespect your Chromebook. We did 5 activities about the Kawa of care and and how you respect it. then we had to create a poster on Google drawing about one of the reasons on the Kawa of care.




This task was fun because I got to use my imagination to create the poster. There lots of things challenging but one thing that was especially challenging was listing the 8 top Kawa of care statements for looking after your device.

Titania

 Titania


10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Blast off! The gas thrusters sound like a V8 engine on the stat line waiting for the green light. “Titania here we come” Yelled Jake. He was sitting next to Lucas and was very nervous because it was his 40th birthday and he wouldn't be able to see his family … 3 months later. “Houston we have a problem” “we are running out of oxygen “ “ we have about half an hour left of oxygen” “can you hear me” “I repeat can you hear me” Yelled Lucas into the radio. Jake starts to look around for the cause of the problem. Then out of the corner of Jakes eye he saw a little critter chewing on the oxygen tube. “Ah Ha” said Jake. Jake grabs the little critter and Lucas fixes the air leak. They have oxygen again. “This can be a pet” “lets name him chomper”. Asked Jake. “Ha that's a good one” said Lucas “Look Titania” “perfect timing” said Jake. “What for” asked Lucas. “Your birthday”

on the trail of the Taniwha?

    On the trail of a Taniwha!


Unistructural: What is the purpose of the story. To see a Taniwha. What words does the author describe the event in action? He uses descrip words. What are the settings and who are the character the characters are Sue, Joseph, Bernie, Amanda settings in a valley grass river


Multistructural:

Three things I remember from the text The Name of the school St Joseph School, That they are going to see the art on the walls of Taniwha,very few histories of Rock art have survived.

summary of the main parts in the story. they go to see the Taniwha rock art and learn all about it, and they also get teach how to be Guardians and protect the land


Relational :

Why do you think it is important that stories are passed down from generations. So we can cherish it because it would be special to us and we can also learn from them about the Maori people and its history

How do animals find food?

 For reading we had to do a task about how animals find food ? Here it is:

Unistructural 

the purpose of the story is how animals find food what words does a does the author used to describe the event and story descriptive words 

the characters are animals and all shapes and sizes the cities are in the water coral reef and grassland, Lakes, trees, Rivers, swamps, Forest and Savannah's.


Multistructural  

How they find food what are the differences in the animals and what are the similar differences what food they eat and food chains

what are some things you remember from the text all living things need energy to survive to get food animals may   hunt in grasslands dive deep or catch food in ear animals adapt to changing climates very fast.


Relational

The blue tongue lizard is similar to the bullfrog because they have the same technique to catch food. They sit and wait then when the time is ready the tongue lunges out and grabs the food. They are also reptiles which means cold blooded animals.

Decimal Quiz

 For maths we have been learning about multiplying and dividing decimals. First we had to Finish the the three tasks that we got given to do. Then we had to create a decimal quiz about what we've learnt. My quiz is about multiplying decimals. Here is the link:
